Certain substrates are needed to improve the

nerve repair pathway. Several studies demonstrate the efficacy of the combined use of uridine-5'-monophosphate (CMP) and cytidine-5'-monophosphate (CMP) for the treatment of peripheral nervous system lesions, particularly in: polyneuropathies, neuritis and myopathies, as well as use in the stimulation of the regeneration of the nerves, apparently act as energy sources, this together complex with choline and vitamins B1 and B6 guarantee a good neurological recovery.

The nucleic acids represent the basis of the regeneration of the nerves. The nucleosides are incorporated into the nerve cells and become nucleotides. The nucleotides reach the axons that participate decisively in the process of regeneration. Thus, cytidine and uridine cause the new synthesis of structural components of nerve cells (J. Cervós-Navarro, Ärzte Zeitung, 1992, No. 131, p.2).

NEONERVIAL promotes the synthesis of the phospholipids and glycolipids that make up the majority of the myelin sheath and other nerve structures.
